Creating Change

Individual therapy is for anyone interested in exploring ways to create the change they want to see in their lives.

Therapy often gets a bad rap, but we must bring our mess into the light to clean it up. If we cannot be honest with ourselves about our pain, our struggles, our suffering in life, then it will be impossible to let them go and live a happy and fulfilled life.

If you are struggling and find yourself stuck in your same old patterns of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, depression, addiction, anger or isolation, there are tools that you can learn to shift your mindset, change your patterns and be the best version of yourself that you can dream up.

When your mind is out of balance, it impacts the health of your body and vice versa. If something does not feel right, if you are sick or have certain aches and pains, it is your body’s way of sending a signal to you that it is time to wake up, pay attention and ask yourself some questions.

What in my life is not working? Where am I unhappy or unfulfilled? What fears or other emotions am I hiding from or ignoring?

Variety of Therapy Approaches

There are several different approaches to therapy, so it can be tricky finding the right therapist for you, especially when you are feeling low, scared or powerless.

In our individual therapy sessions, we work together so you can gain the understanding of how your mind and body can learn the skills needed to free yourself from the roller coaster of emotions.

Through therapeutic techniques and exercises, you will begin to decrease stress, emotional upsets, mood swings, fatigue and some physical ailments. You will feel healthier and happier and have access to reconnect with your heart and true self.

Therapy with Me

I provide a framework and structure, so you can feel safe to explore your beliefs, thoughts and emotions in a way that you have not been able to access before.

Through understanding, practice and reflection, you will gain insight into how your past experiences, traumas, actions and patterns of thinking have brought you to where you are now. You will be able to move forward with more clarity, hope, joy and emotional stability.

We will meet one-on-one in my office, which is in a peaceful yoga studio. It is quiet, and my office is spacious with hot tea and water available. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate and healing environment for you.
