You are on your path to more optimal mind and body health!

You will learn to be curious about your behaviors instead of judgmental, critical or blaming. You will explore some unknown or avoided territories of your life but know that you are held in a safe and compassionate space. You will be challenged at times. You will be uncomfortable at times.

What is also true is you will feel more empowered and experience amazing transformations in your life that you may not have thought possible.

Client Story

Julia was referred to me by another client of mine. When we initially spoke over the phone, she shared that she was nervous because she had never been in therapy before. She was unsure how therapy would help her and skeptical of being so vulnerable with a stranger. This is what I said to her.

“You are not alone. Being honest and vulnerable is a lot to ask of yourself. As young children, being open and trusting can come easily to us, but as we grow older, we become more complicated. We have more experiences that break our trust, hurt our feelings and program our mind, hearts, and bodies to protect ourselves from others. Most of the time we don’t even know we are doing it!

“But here you are – Taking this BIG step outside your comfort zone to see what else is possible for you and your life. Let’s take a moment to celebrate this, Julia. Can we do that?”

During our first session together, she shared that she was married and had two young children. This was a life she chose and really had always wanted. But at some point she found herself feeling depressed, depleted and resentful. She expressed how her stress level and emotions were out of balance, and this was all impacting her relationship with her spouse, her children, her job and her health.

Julia was feeling like she didn’t know who she was anymore or how to be happy. She was just “doing all the things” and not able to relax or have fun with her family. She was worried that her children would grow up thinking that their mom was always too tired or busy to spend time with them and her spouse would grow resentful of her.

Through different approaches, exercises, and techniques, Julia was able to become aware of how certain beliefs and thoughts were impacting her feelings and behaviors. She shifted from feeling weak and disconnected to empowered and full of love. She found herself feeling more energetic, more patient with her family and able to handle triggers with more ease and grace.

Julia’s Story Could Be Yours!

I want to share this with you because I understand how important it is to have a person, space and time that is all yours. You get to reserve this part of your life to invest in yourself, talk, cry, laugh, be a mess, be courageous, and explore the unknown.

Our work together will be rooted in the process of increasing self-awareness around past trauma, old stories and beliefs that are limiting you from living with the health and happiness you desire. You will learn new coping skills and techniques that allow you to let go of what is not serving you and be inspired to create new beliefs, thoughts, and habits that are in alignment with your goals and your heart.

With the right support, accountability, and guidance you will experience more joy, freedom, and love in your life. You will feel more confident in your decisions and be able to express yourself in ways you did not think possible. Your choices can keep you stuck in pain and suffering or set you free to experience your life in a whole new vibrant way.

Our beliefs determine our experience, and our experience confirms our beliefs.

Gina Watkins

I am a holistic mental health therapist and transformational coach who helps women take charge of their mental, emotional and physical well-being. I support and guide you on your journey to heal from past trauma, break free from limiting beliefs, and transform how you feel in your mind and body.

I truly love what I do. I offer you a unique approach to increasing the health of your whole body. I know this is hard work. I have been where you are. I have felt overwhelmed, unmotivated, exhausted and honestly confused about what to do, where to go and who to ask for help.

Eventually, I found the help I needed and broke free from the pain and suffering that was keeping me disconnected from my true self. I said yes to myself and learned to nourish and heal my mind and body, so I can live life on my own terms and be the best version of myself.

Originally from California, I moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 1998 to complete my undergraduate and graduate programs. I have two young children and love to be outdoors, play games, garden, cook, explore our city and beyond, spend time with friends and family and volunteer in our community. I work hard to keep in alignment with my goals around the health of my body, mind, spirit and family life.

I am grateful for the work I do and I love being able to support my clients in living a healthy and happy life.
